Volunteers from The Salvation Army Barrhaven Church answered the call for help for those affected by the tornadoes that touched down in Ottawa on September 21, 2018.

Help was provided in practical ways. In Barrhaven, Arlington Woods, and Dunrobin, church members reached out a hand, providing food and emotional support. During extended power outages and continuing in the areas where homes and property was destroyed, The Salvation Army Barrhaven Church contributed to emergency and disaster response efforts feeding workers and families in neighbourhoods that have been dealing with the devastation.
