Celebrate Easter with The Salvation Army

Easter weekend is the time of year when Christians all over the world will celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Without the resurrection, Jesus would have been just another man who spoke God’s Word. But through the resurrection, He proved He is God’s own son who suffered and died in our place and has the power to triumph over death. Because of His great sacrifice and love for us, He offers forgiveness of our sin and restores us through grace, so we can experience an eternity in God’s presence. That’s why Christians call Him their savior.

Whether you know the story of Easter well, or you want to know more, we hope you’ll join us. You’re invited to our family-friendly United Good Friday Worship Service at Tudor Hall (3750 N Bowesville Road), the Sunday morning SONrise Service on Parliament Hill, and any one of our Easter Sunday Services at Salvation Army churches in the Ottawa area.
